However, everything comes at a price, Leo was finally captured, actually after realising that all that is missing for him is a genuine love by his family,which he had none,so he surrendered. And after earning the trust of Hanks , Leo was spared from jail sentence and work with the F.B.I, for real. So, actually, the love of a family is much precious than intelligence. This is Speiberg's best since Schindlers List!! The story is based on a true story about a school boy who turns into a conman.Leonardo DiCaprio is impressive as Frank.W.Abgalane. The plot moves efficiently and the range of characters are impressive. Especially Tom Hanks and Christopher Walken. The film has a light feel to it and a sixties nostalgia!! I,ve read the book and this only covered some of his cons.The DVD is very good and interviews the real Frank. A very Stylish and intelligent film.

I was very impressed throughout the film with the actors, story, and the film in general. I really felt apart of Frank's scam and his intelligence with checks and the banking system. At some points, it became very boring and dragged out. This would never be worth oscar gold, however it was always keeping you in anticipation for what would happen next. Throughout the picture, you jump into the different worlds with Frank: First as the teen (what would you do in that situation), and deceiving various people as an imposter. I personally really enjoyed this, but it is not the type of movie you can see twice!

The first 20 minutes of Catch Me If You Can are not that appealing but the rest of the 2 Hours are just as good as any other Spielberg film. The main thing about this movie is its acting. Tom Hanks is awesome as Carl Hanratty and deserved an Oscar nomination. Leonardo Dicaprio was also very good as Frank Abagnale Jr. and Christopher Walken was fantastic in his role and deserved his nomination. The humor involved with this film is also very funny and at times laugh out loudable. The only thing I have against this film is that this doesn't feel like a Steven Spielberg film. It feels like anyone could have made it, but most of the time, the charm of Spielberg is still in every camera angle, every performence. Catch Me If You Can is a great Spielberg film.

He is a man that basicily always ran away from his problems and making up new idenitys to live though. Leonardo DiCapio did just that made his performance perfect. The acting of this highly compelling,true to life, film is simply flawless. Leonardo really has that innocent, it really wasn't my fault look required to make the audience feel sympathetic towards him, but he also has a cheeky grin astounding you with Frank's inginuity. The story is funny and at times moving and the ending is soo ironic it brings a smurk to your face. The look of the 1960s was faithfully reproduced all the way down to the opening credits. this is a true story. i wasnt sure how id feel about this film when i heard of it when it first came out, but it turns out that it is an enjoyable film. the main character is a criminal with a fairly strong morals. beside the fact that he manipulates people with lies, that is. this is a well-crafted, entertaining film that tells an interesting story. i wouldnt say its powerful, but it is charming and fun. tom hanks and leo both do very well.
